Dr. Dwight Webster. In 1999, Dr. Johnson founded Deliverance Community Baptist Church, where he served faithfully until 2005. He also developed a peer review curriculum for young ministers, known as “The Preacher’s Clinic,” which was later renamed the Dr. Johnny Ray Youngblood and Rev. Audrey Johnson Preaching Clinic in honor of his mentors.
Following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Pastor Troy, along with many of his family members, relocated to Houston, Texas. In July 2009, he organized the Fresh Start Community Church of Houston. He currently serves as the Director of Christian Education at Windsor Village United Methodist Church under the leadership of Dr. Kirbyjon Caldwell and Pastor Suzette Caldwell.
